Toronto Cooking Class: Classic Indian Dishes Made Vegetarian
Explore the flavors of Indian cuisine in this immersive cooking class. Chef Meena will teach you the vegetarian-friendly recipes for a four-course Indian meal. To start, make Indian nachos, chaat papdi, topped with potatoes, onions and chickpeas and covered in a tamarind sauce and coriander chutney. Next, transform chickpeas and tomatoes into a flavorful chana masala. Whip up vegetable biryani from scratch to enjoy alongside your meal. And finish with a pistachio kulfi for a rich and creamy dessert.

Indian Style Nachos (Chaat Papdi)
With flour chips, potatoes, onions, chickpeas, yogurt, tamarind sauce and coriander chutney
Chana Masala
With chickpeas, tomatoes, onions, ginger and garlic

With rice, cauliflower, cashews, potatoes and various spices

With milk, cream, sugar and pistachio
