Cooking Class: Exploring Flavors Around Italy
Discover the flavors of Italy by creating four regional dishes alongside Chef Akshay in this cooking class.
Start the class by topping crispy bread with roasted tomatoes and creamy bocconcini, finished with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar glaze to make a refreshing bruschetta. Then, make gnocchi from scratch with potatoes, flour and eggs. You'll master the technique to knead the dough and shape the pillowy dumplings. Whip up a rich Parmesan and butter sauce to pair with your potato pasta. Next, chop basil, walnuts and sun-dried tomatoes to make a classic, earthy pesto finished with a bit of Parmesan cheese. You'll end the class with a decadent upside-down tiramisù with multiple layers of cream cheese, espresso-soaked ladyfingers and cocoa for dessert. Book this Italian cooking class today!

Hello, The class very good. Chef Akshay provided some good tips and tricks, and made the recipes not over-whelming. The recipes and food were very good. The reason for the 4 star vs a 5 star was the amount of food we received for the money. We made a large amount of food, but the portions served to us were very small. As an example, we made 12 dumplings, but were only served 4 (2 each). We made a large WOK of Singapore noodles, but were given a small portion. We literally stopped for food on the way home. I have taken cooking classes before and leave very full AND with a "doggy-bag". Unfortunately, with this one, we left hungry and empty handed. BUT the class, the food and the experience was very good.
