You'll use fresh ingredients to prepare a four-course classic island menu blending Hawaiian and Asian-influenced flavors. Kick things off with crunchy fried spring rolls stuffed with shrimp and a spicy green papaya salad. Next, learn to broil Kalbi short ribs with savory ingredients like soy sauce and miso. Finally, enjoy a tropical dessert of lilikoi bars with passion fruit.

Meet your chef
Chef Matt's culinary background is robust and impressive, and his passion for cooking and teaching has been shaped by the many culinary experiences he's acquired over the years. Currently the owner of a catering bakery business, Chef Matt has worked as a sous chef for James Beard nominee Chef Jenn Louis, and was a top 10 finalist in the "Christmas Cookie Challenge" on the Food Network. A creative chef by nature, Chef Matt enjoys the process of teaching others.
