Get ready for a hands-on Italian experience in this cooking class with Chef Matt. You'll learn to prepare a three-course Italian menu centered around one of Italy's favorite comfort foods: fresh handmade pasta. Chef Matt with teach you the skills needed to make soft gnocchi pillows flecked with fresh herbs to begin. Then, you'll create cavatelli for a hearty beef and mushroom ragout dish. For dessert, you'll prepare and enjoy dunderi with homemade maple caramel sauce and roasted pecans.

Meet your chef
Chef Matt's culinary background is robust and impressive, and his passion for cooking and teaching has been shaped by the many culinary experiences he's acquired over the years. Currently the owner of a catering bakery business, Chef Matt has worked as a sous chef for James Beard nominee Chef Jenn Louis, and was a top 10 finalist in the "Christmas Cookie Challenge" on the Food Network. A creative chef by nature, Chef Matt enjoys the process of teaching others.
