Explore the beautiful art of making sushi — while jamming out to classic '80s tunes — in this hands-on cooking class. Chef Lyles will teach you the basics of crafting mouthwatering sushi rolls, so that you can recreate them at home. Begin by assembling a salad of edamame and tofu tossed in a sweet and spicy vinaigrette. Then, move on to preparing a spicy tuna roll with yellowfin tuna, a salmon roll with chives, and an ever-popular dragon roll made with crab leg and topped with avocado. Learn to make perfectly textured sushi rice and the way to properly slice fish. Finish up with Asian-spiced poached pears with sweet vanilla bean ice cream.
