Cooking Class: Sushi Rolls From Scratch

Have you ever wanted to learn how to roll your own sushi? Here's your chance! In this cooking class with Chef Matt, you will learn how to make fresh sushi rolls completely from scratch. 


Chef Matt will walk you through the basics of making your own rolls starting with a salmon variation. He will teach you how to prepare your sushi rice before filling it with salmon, vegetables and an optional spicy cream cheese. Next, you will make a similar roll that features tofu. You will also make ponzu sauce and spicy mayonnaise to accompany your rolls.


Our cooking classes are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase drinks to enjoy during the class.

Salmon Roll 

With carrots, cucumber, avocado, rice, and optional cream cheese and Sriracha


Vegetable Roll 

With avocado, carrots, cucumber, tofu and daikon radish


Ponzu Sauce

With soy sauce, yuzu juice, katsuobushi and kombu


Spicy Mayonnaise 

With eggs, oil, salt, yuzu juice, Sriracha and sambal oelek
