In this guided class, Chef Christy will break down a restaurant-quality mushroom risotto into something a home cook of any caliber can duplicate with ease.
In addition to teaching the proper techniques to preparing risotto, Chef Christy will also teach you how to incorporate seasonal flavors and ingredients into risotto as well as how to handcraft garnishes like Parmesan crisps and pickled vegetables.
Our cooking classes are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

After graduating with a degree in culinary arts from the Art Institute of Atlanta, Chef Christy has gone on to develop and execute menus for some of Atlanta's best restaurants. Currently the executive chef at one of Atlanta's premiere sophisticated cocktail lounges, Chef Christy has also owned and operated a designer cake and pastry business, catered special events, and worked as a chef instructor teaching cooking classes for a cookware and entertaining company.
