Cooking Class: Pappardelle Pasta From Scratch

There's nothing like pasta ragu — especially when it's handmade! Learn how to make this traditional dish completely from scratch with the help of Chef Jacob. 


He will begin by teaching you how to make fresh pappardelle noodles, which you will knead, roll, cut and boil with his guidance. Chef Jacob will also show you how to prepare the perfect mushroom ragu enhanced with local beer. You'll have the option to add Italian sausage to your sauce or keep it vegetarian. Garnish the final dish with goat cheese, olive oil and herbs.

Our cooking classes are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

I learned so much from Chef Patrick in our short amount of time together, from how to make fresh mozzarella to the best way to cut fish. He was an excellent instructor, answering questions in detail and with enthusiasm. Every dish was delicious and beautifully executed. Highly recommended.
