Cooking Class: Fresh Fettuccini Carbonara

Learn how to make three classic Italian dishes from scratch using authentic cooking techniques in this hands-on cooking class with Chef Joe. First, you'll toss together a fresh Caprese salad with plenty of mozzarella, basil and tomatoes. Then prepare a simple pasta dough and learn how to roll out fettuccini noodles, which you'll smother in a creamy homemade carbonara sauce. For dessert, you'll learn how to make a classic tiramisu with ladyfinger cookies and mascarpone cheese.

Chef Joe taught me that it is very important to have a 3 to 1 ratio of vinegar to oil when making a salad dressing. He has worked in some of the best restaurants in the Middle East and North America!
