Team Building Activity: Traditional Spanish Cuisine

In this team building activity with Chef Elliott, you and your team will explore traditional Spanish cuisine and learn how to prepare an authentic four-course Spanish menu. To start, Chef Elliott will teach you and your team how to create two popular Spanish tapas: Spanish-style toast rubbed with ripe tomatoes (pan tumaca) and braised pork cheeks (carrillada). Next, your team will work together as you prepare an authentic chicken and seafood paella bursting with traditional Spanish flavors. Afterwards, you'll end with something sweet and enjoy homemade churros for dessert. 


MENU


Pan Tumaca 

With plum tomatoes, sourdough bread, garlic and kosher salt


Carrillada 

With pork cheeks, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, dry sherry and beef stock


Chicken and Seafood Paella 

With vegetables, saffron, white wine, shrimp, mussels and calamari


Churros 

 With butter, sugar, vanilla, oil and cinnamon
